Backyard Pasupu Kottadam Ceremony 

​Pasupu kottadam or pasupu danchadam ceremony signifies the start of the wedding festivities. On this auspicious day, the house is decorated and guests are invited to participate in the ceremony. It takes place with a few women pounding turmeric in the pestle, which is stored for the #pellikuthuru and #pellikoduku function later.
